Recently brought in coins and was offered $1. Thankfully I had researched the value ahead of time, the minimum value of these coins (worse condition but certified collectables) was $25.55. Their offer was just under 4% of the value. When I eluded as much, I was quite rudely brushed off. I've worked in some type of customer service for over 15 years of my life. I can honestly say this place doesn't much care for customers. I'm only sharing this review to forewarn others. If you've had a good experience here, that's wonderful. But I would approach this business with extreme caution.
Great experience at JD Coin. I was looking to sell a large quantity of silver, I first went to Med City Coin and Bullion, was told that I wouldn't get the price I was asking from anyone. Well, next stop was JD coin and received an even a better price without having to negotiate. Great experience!
Seems like a nice shop, only rating 4 stars as to almost immediately dismissing the rarity of a coin with little to no examination. Took a bit more talking to even get them to take a closer look and recommend a coin grader to send to. Seems to know their stuff and has a nice shop, just wish they weren’t so quick to dismiss rarity with little examination.
