Nathan is a stand up guy running a quality family business. The shop is clean, well lit, and everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Offered VERY fair pricing and took the time to answer my questions with 0 sales pressure or shady tactics that some other shops use. 10/10 experience, will absolutely be returning.

Owner agreed to allow me to meet a 3rd party for a private purchase and verify it before buying the item! Staff was patient and professional and I dont see any reason to ever shop anywhere else for your precious metals.

If youre looking to get more then a fair deal on your gold and silver , DO NOT GO TO ANY LOCAL PAWN SHOP they will 100% rip you off. I just got $1,200 more then motor city offered me. Took 30mins less as well. I will not go to any other gold/silver places around here ever again. Thank you guys!!

This place is a joke. I took 37 ounces of silver in 40% silver Kennedy half dollars in there today, February 14 2026, and this overweight and outwardly aggressive dude has the nerve to offer under $1500. The spot price was right around $78 right before I entered the store. He gave some excuse about "it being 40% so it's harder to sell to a refiner". It's silver no matter how you sell it big guy, it's your problem if the refiner is ripping you off. Not the first time they low balled me on the price of precious metals and then acted like I was ignorant of the price per Oz or gram. I had a pro Palestinian flag lapel on my collar and a cross necklace on so I think he wanted to offend me. He had a giant golden star of David charm on a thick gold necklace so I assume he was being unwelcoming on purpose even though I was polite the whole way through. Rip off artist.

These guys are great. Extremely honest and reasonable, which tends to be rare in this business. Great selection of gold and silver at really competitive pricing. They also were very transparent about the true value of my necklace whereas another shop was very dishonest even though I already knew. They are family owned, which I like even more. I highly recommend the Gold Cove for anyone new or experienced in investing in precious metals.
