They said they needed to test my pendant when I asked them if they wanted to buy it. They ruined it then offered me $20 for the light weight of gold told me that the diamonds are just shards so they aren’t worth anything. Why even test it?

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. GoldCity LLC pays the most for gold I have ever seen, and it’s not even close. I went in expecting the usual lowball offer… and walked out shocked. No games, no pressure, no shady math — they explain everything, weigh it right in front of you, and actually respect what you bring in. The staff is professional, honest, and makes the whole process easy and comfortable. If you’re thinking about selling gold and want top dollar, stop wasting time anywhere else. GoldCity LLC is the real deal. I won’t sell my gold to anyone else.

There’s no issue with pricing here, very competitive with what they offer. I was mistakenly (I believe) shorted 0.46Oz on my last purchase when I was sold a 20g piece of silver as a Troy Oz. I mentioned it on this occasion and there was no offer for compensation. Some time had passed so I moved onto making trades. After trading in a substantial amount of silver (4 figures), I then proceeded to purchase some additional silver that I preferred, prepared to pay the difference. The store clerk mistakenly paid me out the balance, and I politely gave her the money back and let her know it was me who owed an additional 4 figure sum (this was not a small mistake). I made a joke about receiving a free Oz for being a Good Samaritan, and the entire shop proceeded to turn on me. Mind you, this is after they have previously shorted me in what I thought was a simple error. They then proceeded to charge me a transaction fee, and only knocked it down slightly after a lot of back and forth heckling. Again, keep in context that I had return amount 2000$ of money to them, and having been shorted the half gram of silver on a previous purchase. I proceeded to pay the slightly reduced transaction fee, but the damage is done. I don’t believe the owner understood exactly how everything had played out, and the situation was being inflamed by another moronic patron. Needless to say with all of the options available this will be my last time coming in. It’s a shame because it really is a nice little shop, but I can’t give my business to people who had the lack of self awareness to charge a transaction fee after being handed back 1800$ that most would have walked out the door with
