Stopped in, been 5 years or so since I last went in. Old school Bangor and really nice guy.
Great store great deals and the best part is the conversation! The owner lover photography and has some amazing personal photos that he showed me. Must see for sure. Looking forward to going back to shop again
Following customers home ... wonder what the better business bureau and chamber of commerce will say about it. Also I'm also a pawn broker. I had all my paperwork on me that day. Drawing attention to your bad behavior is bad business.
Went into the place looking to find out how much a firearm transfer would cost. Old man who runs the place didn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes and kept on gossiping with his old buddies. They don't do firearm transfers apparently and their wares were overpriced. Would not recommend.
I have had several dealings with this particular shop over the years. It's never a good situation to begin with if I'm bringing something to pawn, because that means money is scarce. There are two gentlemen I've talked with there, and The man who is slightly older is a very helpful person to deal with. He never tries to offer a price on something that is insultingly low, and will do anything he can to help you and be fair. The other of the two gentlemen is a bit different. He doesn't bother to look up anything I bring to decide a price, and because of this I have gotten poor estimates on items I have brought. You can expect an offer of about one third of what your item is worth at any shop, but because of the lack of knowledge, or maybe just trying to make a buck, he has given offers on things that are ridiculous, even insulting sometimes. The guy is usually fairly rude, and I get the vibe that he doesn't want you there and almost resents doing business with you. I have had good and bad experiences here, so just be aware of which gentleman you deal with there. good luck everyone!!
This pawn shop is awsome i got a sweet bc rich bronze worlock guitar with custom.air brush deign makes it look so sick for half the price and it comes with a coffin case i got a stavin deal also i bought a brand new sealed in box ridgid im pact gen 5 brushless and it still works 3 years later its been beaten alot and always goes i saved alot of money there and tools made me alot of money this show is awsome
