Lady I talked with over the phone was unhelpful and not the nicest. Told me my collection was worthless, they didn’t want to look at it. My options according to her was to toss it or give it to the library whatever that means.

Wonderful staff! I recently inherited some Soviet stamps and wanted to get them appraised. Turns out the stamps only worth is sentimental but regardless. Other reviews mention that their stamps weren’t thoroughly reviewed but from my perspective this is just because the man in charge (sorry for forgetting his name) is obviously knowledgeable. If I ever have stamp related needs again I will be coming here!

Had a great experience working with Tom at Bethesda Jewelers. He took the time with us to meet after work, looked at every piece individually and was able to sort through everything rapidly. Unfortunately we did have a lot of costume, but all the items we thought were real were indeed so. Fair policy, fair exchange price in my opinion. Would recommend.

I was in town and David’s shop was in easy walking distance. Had an extremely nice time, and actually came back a day later. Very knowledgeable and I am very pleased with my purchases. Importantly, while there I saw him interact with a number of other customers. Like me, he treated them with patience and answered all questions in a friendly manner. I hope to get back there!

What truly sets this shop apart are the owners, David and Tina, who are unbelievably knowledgeable and professional, while always being welcoming, friendly, honest, and patient. They take the time to provide expert insight about each coin, and I never feel rushed. I highly recommend this shop for the owners' remarkable expertise and amazing customer service! Lovely shop and even lovelier owners! :)
