upon entering. You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door from two fine gentlemen and ask you what you're there for. I explained to him that I lost my husband 12 days ago and I wanted to get his birthstone ring they took me over a case that had three rings and proceeded to you know give me their condolence for losing my husband.. picked out a ring and they gave a wonderful price on it and a deal on sizing it for me and as I'm making the final sale you know one of the guys comes over and proceeds to give me a a box of Russell stovers candy they and and a Happy Valentine's Day balloon and today I was having a bad day at work and was telling a co-worker how it was going to be the first time in 46 years of not having my partner with me and that it was going to be hard and you guys. You made it a little better. Today you brought tears to my eyes and made me cry Thank you very much for your kindness. If I could give you a thousand star review I would've

I went into this shop for the first time. The place was clean. The atmosphere was friendly. I wanted to treat myself for Valentine day so I just decided to stop in. Tim was very helpful. I picked out a pendant and he picked the perfect chain to go with it. I was a little skeptical at first because Tim was great at explaining the market and I was pleased with my purchase. His coworkers were also helpful. It was a relaxing and smooth transaction. The guys working Rich and Tim are hilarious. I don’t know who is the Dad! 😂 Anyway thanks for making my day! I will be back

Employees are just not in the mood to sell anything. Been there 3 times the past 3 months. Last time was today guy had his legs kicked up on the counter. Never once approached me about buying anything. Just sat there with 4 other guys (for somereson they have more Employees then customers every time I'm there) talking crappie about people and how slow its been. I'd say its slow when you don't bother to even help a guy who is literally looking g at laptops and gaming consoles. Lost that 500 dollar plus sale quick.

0/10 would NOT recommend. This place has not been the same since Howard retired. I was a long time customer of over 30 years. I bought all my jewelry here for great prices. They’re just scammers now. They’ll try to charge you 800+ for a ring they gave a junkie less than 60$ for.

Very friendly and outgoing staff! Very clean inside! They make you feel welcomed! I bought a PS5 from them and a controller, the price for both was very reasonable! I will definitely be back again for an iPad lol!

Goodness I could say some much about this shop! Everyone I have worked with has been incredible! I would recommend them for any business you’re looking to do be it buying, selling or pawning. They have always been fair with pricing buying or selling. Times when I have had things in pawn and needed help with making my payments on time they have always worked with me. When I was in a tight spot and couldn’t make my payment they ASSURED me I would not loose my items while meeting me in the middle on getting my payment to them. My spouse and I have done a lot of business with these guys. From tools to jewelry. The whole team is great with working with you! Definitely “team” players and definitely recommended!

I’ve been shopping and selling items at Essex Pawn for almost 30 years & the staff there is very welcoming and helpful. They have a huge variety of items for sale including beautiful jewelry and the prices are good and they give you good prices for the items you sell. They are very reasonable and they work with you to make a good deal so everyone is happy in the end !
