I probably should have read the other reviews before bothering to call. The guy is ridiculous when it comes to a very commonplace coin shop activity - acted like it was a preposterous thing for someone to ask if they offered precious metals testing. That's a pretty basic thing and gets customers in the door, and doesn't need to be free either. Obviously a pretty miserable guy, which isn't great if you own a customer facing business. Sheesh!
What a miserable and unpleasant experience. I called and asked if they bought silver bullion coins and the man who answered informed me they did. When I brought them in he tallied up a price for what I had and then randomly decided he wasn't interested. He was very rude and unpleasant about it. If you're not interested in buying it just say so. If we can't agree on a price that's fine. But the level of contempt and disgust I was treated with was truly abhorrent. I can only pray this place isn't around much longer, because a much more pleasant business could take it's serene little spot in Fairhaven. Genuinely the worst experience I've had at this type of business. Went once and will never go back. Seriously suggest you take your business anywhere else. Even flea markets and pawn shops are more pleasant than this place was.
