I watch the owner buy a item he clearly didbt want nor vould he profit off of.the person was a fepeat customer and was in a obvious tuff situation needing money for a their childs birthday present.i overheard,it was a emotional and very nice window into the owner who said nothing in the way of buisness talk. I don’t usually leave reviews but my experience at Peoples Pawn was great! First, they stayed open passed there close time in order for me to be able to make a sale with them so I could get the rest of my rent money. They were so friendly and helpful. The guy explained everything to me about pricing. Overall experience was great. Highly recommend. Highly recommend! Came in the other day to pawn a laptop and old phone as I needed quick cash. (In the middle of house buying and can’t access my normal accounts right now) and I accidentally reset my entire laptop instead on signing out of just iCloud, which meant it would take 3 hours for it to turn back on and have Mac OS reinstalled- and it was already very close to closing time by this point. Billy and his associate, I believe Mia (may be wrong with spelling) were so nice about it and had me come back in a few hours after closing to collect the cash I needed once my Mac turned back on. I’ll be there in less than a month to pick my stuff up, but will also likely be visiting there for future shopping needs as they had a pretty good variety of electronics and speakers etc. they were really great to work with and gave me fair pricing. So I needed a power generator for an upcoming storm, all the big box stores were sold out, FB marketplace was sold out, I call this store and he told me he had one available , I met the owner there and there was a line at the door looking for power generators, he said he only had the one and that it was reserved for me as I had called beforehand. Worst pawn shop experience ever! My husband got a laptop here for $260 that stopped working the second he tried setting it up at home! He was told he could get a new laptop and upon trying to get it he was told he had to wait 30 days. The owner supposedly ordered a new battery and it’s been 2 weeks and it’s impossible to get a hold of them!! This place is BAD BUSINESS!!!— Rachel, Apr 2025
