Bret Leifer sold me a numismatic collection in 2008. He was recommended by an acquaintance and knew that I was recently divorced, looking for an investment, and knew nothing about coins. I have since tried to sell the collection a couple of times, and dealers have told me that I was overcharged. Brett no longer takes my calls and does not return my phone calls. I'm sorry I ever got involved in dealing with Bret Leifer Numismatics.
