Offered me 15% market on Sun & Moon type cards after taking 45 minutes and told me they’d sell them at 50% below market which is a complete lie.
This game shop is organized well and has a welcoming atmosphere. I came in to look for a game for my sister and the employee working there, Julia, gave me an overview of several different games and was very friendly. She was super knowledgeable in the games. Overall, I was happy with their selection of games and impressed by the customer service. I’ll be there again.
Great card shop specializing in magic the gathering and tabletop games. Largest and most comprehensive selection of magic singles in town. Friendly staff, regularly holds multiple play events a week with friendly regulars.
Dropped by today to look at the pokemon selection I was interested in 2 cards one priced on the sticker at 100 and the other at 15. i had asked the gentleman with the dark ponytail to work with me on the price of the $100 card. He comes back says he could get it down to 90 for me but insisted on upcharging me on the $15 card. After i gave him a look he had changed his mind pretty quick about sticking with the sticker price. I ask him about the packs they were 7.99 a piece “scalp pricing” and we had agreed on everything to be $121 and some change. I shouldve grabbed my receipt cus i was charged 136. Not sure how we got there when state tax is 6%. So if i had to guess i got taxed $8-$10 for catching a deal and the store couldnt bare to lose $10. Bottom of the line i wouldnt buy from here and they have scalped pricing on their pokemon sealed product 0/10
I have been to many games and hobby shops, but this one on North Ashland was really nice. Chiefly a board and Card Game store, they are big, clean and prices are very competitive. They have tables in the back for gamers too! The clerk that helped was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. A good experience for an inexperienced gamer like myself. Worth a visit!!
I mostly come here for the occasional Magic the Gathering event, but it's always been a good time! They cater to other gaming hobbies as well, but DnD and MtG seems to be their main focus. The sell a small selection of snacks and drinks for those gaming sessions that run long, which is appreciated.
