Dont expect to try and sell or pawn anything for a fraction of what is worth i was offered $200 for a kimber 1911 on pawn and that was the highest he could go... now tell me how a $1000 pistol is worth $200. Its not but whatever 1 hr later went to big als guns and he offered me $750 so yeah.
When going in a pawn shop I always feel like I'm fixing to be judged. Because I'm broke and have to end up pawning my things sometimes....not too often. But if I do, this is definitely the pawn shop I'd go to! They don't judge you. Their very nice and friendly. It's father and son..of course they have just a couple others working..but they treat you with respect and the ol dad loves to chit chat with you. It makes it a better experience going there.
First off. A $150 item that I had Pawned before several times at other places he would give me nothing for. I asked if I could pawn a Chainsaw, he said Ok. Walked 3 blocks to get chainsaw because there is no Parking ( It's right downtown by the Courthouse) and when I got back at 5:01 he locked the door in my Face, because they closed at 5:00. All I need was a few dollars for Gas ( which I then Ran out of). Thanks for Helping a Disabled Wartime Veteran Out! ( Yes, that's sarcasm). I would never recommend this place in 100 years. And also , surely , he is affiliated with the Sheriff's Office, because there were Sheriff's Poster's on the Wall. Also, There were only a few items For Sale. Overpriced. I think this Pawnshop might just be a front for the Sheriff's Office to Arrest People who Steal. If I could give this Place a Zero Review I surely would, but it won't let me BEWARE!
Beware of purchase through their Buya site. Received a US Postal tracking number but shipment status never updated beyond ‘Accepted’. Currently under investigation by US Postal Inspector Office for withholding package after scanning at self-service kiosk.
