Very pleased with our experience selling our coins to Tom. He explained why some coins were worth more than others and some history behind them. Felt we were treated very fair and gave us the value on those we wanted to keep also.
I spent an hour of exceptional information on the value and history of the coins I possessed. Tom was and is very congenial and matter-of-fact about coin collecting and their worth. He gave me very fair prices for the coins that were sellable. In fact, for some of the coins, he offered me more than the current value. He offers the current daily market rate of precious metals. Keep in mind, those rates fluctuate with demand and economic structure. Tom visually examined every gold and silver piece, nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, and $1 pieces I had. A penny counter revealed the exact number of "Wheat-backs" in my collection. He offered me double the face value for the "Wheaties". I didn't have any rare coins, but I felt secure with Tom's honesty and I was at ease with the entire inspection and evaluation process. Yes, I will visit him in the future.
