Staff are very friendly and helpful. The size of the place from the outside is deceptive. There are some gems in here but you have to look and look again.
Fantastic hidden gem in the Springfield area! A bit of a treasure hunt -- but if you like to dig a bit and don't mind things being perfectly imperfect when it comes to organization, this is the place for you! Collectible / antique / vintage items include Pyrex galore, tons of beer / brewania items, primitives (jugs, crates, iron, seed sacks++), coins, jewelry, furniture, CAST IRON, glassware (Carnival, Fostoria, Fenton+++), VINTAGE CLOTHING, toys, MID-CENTURY everything, bottles, political memorabilia, ceramics (Toby Mugs, Hummels, Roseville +++), artwork, MINIATURES, and so much more! Other little things to pick up along the way include some amazing reproduction furniture and art pieces, AWESOME metal sculpture and yard art, and fantastic books to keep you entertained this long cold winter. Great mix of collectible and functional, all at great prices!
Definitely won’t go back to this store. My husband and I have traveled this way and stopped here for years . Have purchased many items however, the past few years it has become overpriced compared to a wonderful mall about half an hour away. Also, the people who work there are very unfriendly. I always smile when I come in and do not get ANY response. They also display obscene merchandise in clear view which is quite offensive.
The people that work there are just very rude. They always want to close earlier than their hours online. It doesn’t matter if you have been shopping an hour and a half before close and are almost done (still leaving before 5:30 which is when they advertise they close) they will be snarky with you the entire time and rude trying to rush you out and want you to leave so they can “close early”. None of my friends of I have ever had a friendly experience any of the handful of times I have been here. Very unfortunate because this shop has amazing potential.
Went there and most of the other customers side eyed me as well as openly tried to start something with me simply because I look different. The workers also contributed as well. It overall just did not feel welcoming and that’s so so sad. They also do carry black caricature dolls. Be safe y’all going if you’re not white or visibly straight
Extremely expansive inventory with prices that are reasonable! Three stories, all with a fantastic variety. A very calm atmosphere, spacious, and is definitely one of those places that's way bigger than it looks from the outside. Worth the trip/visit, as I'd initially planned to stay for an hour, ended up being there for 2 and a half lmao. The two staff members there were very friendly and upbeat as well!
