Vernon Hills Checkexpress Currency Exchange

These guys ripped me off almost $100 USD when changing to foreign currency. Their rate was a 20% difference from current market plus there was a large fee per transaction. Change your money somewhere else.

I came in today around noon and received the best service I’ve ever received from a business . I mean the clerk cared so much about my very difficult situation and worked for hours and called me back to come right away when she got my situation resolved and I just wish I could give her 10 stars because she deserves every last one . I’m not sure what her name was but she was there working alone around noon .

Special thanks to Liz. I strongly recommend coming here for out of state vehicle registration and plates instead of the DMV. It is worth the money especially if you are immunocompromised and taking public health measures. The staff member wears a surgical mask, just sharing that for those who value this.

Well, I received a check for participating in the fight for 15. The check was only $50. I went in here before going into work, hoping I can get my check cashed. The lady told me she had to get approval in order to cash the check. I live in Chicago and I have never had to wait for an approval to get a check cashed, and usually I cashed checks that were at least $500. after standing there 10 minutes she finally tells me they cant cash it because of some BS excuse that her supervisor couldn't get any information at the time to cash the check because they never cashed a check like that before. So I went to the walmart around the corner and they cashed it with no problem. Obviously, I was discriminated against even just to cash a small check for $50. Today was my first and last time going to this establishment!

I went here to get a city sticker and these people messed up my address twice as well as the VIN number on my car. If they are unable to do basic things such as copying information directly from printed out forms, I feel sorry for anyone who is actually going here to send money or cash checks. I now have to go to City Hall to get the VIN number changed on parking permit. Please don't waste your time going there if you can find another way. Good luck.

I won’t use this location for car title service. The woman was very rude acting as if she is a DMV officer or something. If someone is spending $90 to register a vehicle, just be nice to the customer. Not a smart woman.
