Terrible staff and service

Matt and his team are pros. We purchased several expensive pieces from Monster Pawn Springfield and the entire experience was fantastic. Working across the country via phone and email, all of our questions were answered and we were 100% satisfied with the communication, the packaging and speed of delivery, and the deal. Nick the guitar tech spent a ton of time on the phone with us and this guy knows his stuff. Great guy to talk gear with! Matt the owner worked out a really solid deal on several great pieces for us. All about taking your stuff and selling it NOW. been going there for years, longer them most if not all the employees have been working there Never had a problem till now. Wife called said we would be in to pay on the weekend, she was there a couple hours after they opened on Saturday but they still sold the items anyway despite the fact they knew she would be in. ALL ABOUT TAKING AND SELLING YOUR STUFF NOW. Seems like there more interest in the quick sale of your stuff versus the money they make off of long-term payments and repeat business

Dont shop here. They change prices at counter. I dug through $1 game bin on lunch break, then when I went to pay for 10 games the self proclaimed "owner" wouldn't sell me the most valuable one and didn't give me a price because an employee who didn't know what they were doing. If the person I talked to today (red monster pawn jersey) isn't the actual owner would like to talk to real one to provide timestamp of transaction. I went back today and offered to buy over $100 in games if they honored fixing the issue, but he said no. If they change their mind, and treat consumers fairly ill remove my review

Awesome experience at Monster Pawn on MacArthur! I gotta give a huge shoutout to the two employees who helped me out. They were super fast, friendly, and knew exactly what I was looking for. I went in needing an XLR cable for my mic, and they pointed me right to it. Seriously, I really needed it, so thanks for having it in stock! The whole place has a really clean and cool atmosphere. If you're looking for something specific, or just want to browse, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. For real, anybody and everybody should come check this place out. You'll find what you need and be in a great environment.
