The owners and staff are always very helpful when inquiring about specific items materials styles and history. There's a giant selection and could be treated as a museum you can buy from. I go there for everything but new tech, food and drink and fortunately John's grocery is across the street

Haven’t been in here for YEARS & I definitely regret that. There was so much to look and take in. I collect cabinet cards & they had SO MANY in such good condition, I could’ve spent a better part of a day going thru them & pay check giving them all a new home!
Awesome glass selection! I got vases for my wedding. Lots of jewelry and baskets too. Some reasonably priced items as well!

Made a trip to IC to look around at some shops, and this was one on my list. It has a lot of different- unique items to look at. Store is pretty full and a little tight in some areas. Some items were stacked high & no way to see price tags without moving numerous items, but staff is willing to help. It's a very unique store and was fun to browse at all the different items. Staff seemed friendly that I encountered. I would definitely stop again if in the area.
I’ve lived in IC my whole life and have never visited Artifacts. I went today and my daughter had to drag me out- there is so much to look! This place will take you down memory lane. The prices are very reasonable!
I live in Milwaukee but every time I’m out in Iowa City, my boyfriend & I must come to Artifacts. I am an absolute & avid antique lover, even having my own booth. This is the coolest & most unique vintage shop I’ve ever visited! Things are reasonably priced mostly. Everything’s displayed nicely. You could spend hours in here. So so many cool treasures & one-of-a-kind finds. Love it!!!
