Eh, called to inquire how much I could get for my 10 oz silver bar, EST about $58 an oz. Offered $480 which is $100 below melt. Such a rip off. Wouldn’t do business here.
This was my first time visiting Northlake Stamp & Coin, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I went in looking for collecting supplies and walked out with exactly what I needed: a 2026 Red Book (Amazon's wait was a month out), three Dansco albums (which have become really hard to find lately), and a good supply of coin flips. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly—they took the time to answer my questions, show me different options, and even taught me about different chopmarks on Spanish Reales. Thanks for talking shop! It's clear they know their stuff and care about their customers. As a collector, it's nice to find a shop with good selection, fair prices, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

I have been a customer here for song, long time. I've night and sold coins & bullion. The main guy behind the counter has always been courteous, helpful and kind. It disturbs me that these negative reviews mostly deal with low offers for bullion. Anyone can shop around and maybe get a better price for bullion but it's a pain. The idea that a low offer is "untrustworthy" is ridiculous. No person or shop is required to buy anything. His offer may be "low-ball" but the shop sets the prices. I'd also add that they have to make some money.
