Found shop online and signed up to take class for Security D license. What a great experience from beginning to end! Jo was so very knowledgeable and patient as some of us had no training or experience. I loved hearing her stories! Garland was very laid back and relaxed and never made us feel dumb as we peppered him with questions. I loved how when we were almost always feeling sluggish and sleepy after lunch and Kirby would pop in loudly with some random question or story and his music taste is very unique. This group did a great job and I left the class much better than when I came in on the first day. And Jo, I promise to take my job seriously and not laugh uncontrollably. Absolutely brilliant time here at Rieg's. Visiting from UK, got a Groupon code and turned up. Matt, showed us the ropes with the guns and all we had to pay for was the ammo. Started off with small handguns and worked up to the rifle. All very friendly and a great experience. Thanks guys 👍🏻
Rieg’s Gun Shop is a great place to visit if you’re looking for quality service and a welcoming atmosphere. Ethan is fantastic — he takes his time to explain everything clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable and informed, no matter your experience level. The shop has a very welcoming vibe overall, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The only downside is that the ammunition prices are quite high compared to other places, which makes it a bit harder to visit as often as I would like. Otherwise, it’s definitely a top-notch spot, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service and a friendly environment!
My first time shooting was today. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They went through operating a gun with me and showing me all I need to know. Justin and his wife helped ensure the confidence I needed and I for sure will be returning!
