I just had to cancel an order that I tried to place back in December because I was told that my coins wouldn't ship until the second week of February (it's January 27th). Communication was awful, customer service was near non-existent, and when I expressed my frustration I was told that my order would be cancelled, given a weak apology and excuse, and sent on my merry way.
Hello All, If your thinking about using this company you may want to read this first....... I am writing on behalf of my husband because he is not the type to make a stink about things but I on the other hand WILL! My husband is a Chief in the Navy and has served this country for 22 years. He is due to retire in the month of June. My husband has heard great things about Quarter Masters and decided to reach out to them in regards to coins for his retirement and give them to his command and guests who deserve them. He reached out to Quarter Masters in FEBRUARY, yes I said it February. He was told send over your design and well get it done. NO Problem.... Sent over the design.... No reply, he calls NO reply AGAIN... He sends emails no reply. He calls and says can we get this done? The receptionist said ill have the owner call you back. Again, No reply I can go on for months. But there is NO Communication from this company at all. So finally Months later we finally get a response from the owner saying I'm sorry but we had a loss in the family. I'm sorry to hear that but its been since February and the death in your family was literally 2 weeks ago. What about the last 3 months?????? So he was sorry and said ill have your design over to you and if you want to proceed let me know, Ill do it no charge I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and loss of communication. So my husband said ok sounds good, Ill wait for the design, and if you want to send to my personal email or call me let me know. He gave the owner everything, Cell, Home email and work email. So what did the owner do send the design to his work email. No contact again on home or cell saying its done. My husband was out of town for 2 days and cant check his work (Military) email. So gets into work today with the design and emails the owner back saying looks good, and there was one small minor change he would like. Well the owner emailed him right back saying Sorry its too late now we cant do it for you, but if you need anything in the future let me know. WHAT????????????? Are you serious we have waited and were then patient with this company and get this..... I am so upset and my husband has trusted this guy was going to do right. Well he didn't and you only retire from the military 1 time. We were willing to pay him and he still didn't want our money. Who runs a company this way. So I am just putting our story out there to the people that will consider to work with this company. Good luck everyone!!!!!
