I brought in some coins, bills, and literature and had a very pleasant conversation with Tom and two of his colleagues. Tom was very professional and friendly, and I felt like I could trust his estimate and the deal we made. I will be bringing in more items.

I called WG&C and a few other places for Coin Quotes in the months before deciding who to work with. The other two eliminated themselves quickly by not returning phone calls, not being familiar with Silver spot quotes in a BULL market and for exhibiting a snooty/disinterested attitude; like they were doing me a favor by even talking to me. After 42 years in business I don't tolerate that since I never treated people that way. One of them even needed to call someone else for an answer each time in order to give me a quote - which is ridiculous for a supposed coin dealer. You don't know the price that you are willing to sell/buy at? Seriously? The same guy claimed later that he had not called me back because he was "BUSY". Imagine that, as though no one but him is busy. But he "could talk now because there was no one in his store." (So then why hadn't he called me back with the Silver quote if there was no one in his store?). His repeated lack of knowledge and dishonesty was disqualifying! Now, knowing what I know, I would NEVER work with him on a transaction! In contrast, Tom was ALWAYS pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, even when he was clearly very busy. And he always returned my phone calls quickly - just as I have done for so many years. I looked forward to finally meeting him, and when I did, he was very down-to-Earth and professional. A real pleasure to work with and very honest and fair with his prices. Tom and I have done business twice now - each time it was a very enjoyable experience and I look forward to working with him again and helping to support his business. I want him to continue to succeed. I urge you to call Tom and work with him and see the difference for yourself. You would just be wasting your time, energy and money by working with anyone else.
