Had to make a quick call on my break to them. I could barely hear which is my fault for my location. I asked the person if they operate like a pawn shop, there was a rude yes which I guess there was something obvious I was missing. I asked if I pawn some stuff where I just need 50 bucks, how much would it be to buy back? She then proceeds to say that they don't do loans/pawns.. ok so you don't operate like a pawn shop. Been here a few times I can say it's nothing special. The guy who owns the place Son In Law works there and he would stare at you awkwardly the whole time you are there. Very uncomfortable.

The people who own the place were very kind and helpful towards me and I don’t think their intentions were malicious. That being said, their protocol for testing the things on their shelves falls far short of satisfactory. I bought a power supply from them and it didn’t work, so I called and he was nice enough to extend the three day (yes, three) return policy because he knew I was a 45 minute drive from him. I made the trip over there again to swap out the power supply (because they only give store credit, even when they sell you a broken product), and while I would have much rather just gotten my money back and been done with it, I settled for a Boss guitar pedal, which also turned out to be broken. I was cautious the first time and tried to test the power supply, but the only multimeter he had was badly corroded so I took a chance. The second time, I was extra cautious and asked if I could test the pedal on one of his many guitars and amps, but he said something along the lines of “that would be a bit much” followed by “I have one main guy who brings me most of the guitar stuff and it’s all worked” so I thought, “what are the chances?” and took it home. I should have insisted. I opened it up to find that the component responsible for reverse polarity protection was broken in half, which most likely occurred from a previous owner using the wrong wall adapter, or a power surge. In either case, the project has now become a puzzle to figure out what other components got toasted. Like I said, I don’t think they mean any harm but if you’re going to buy something, I strongly suggest you make sure it works before you give them the money, otherwise I wouldn’t trust it. If any of the owners or employees happen to be reading this, please consider a more rigorous testing of your products (or even a demo area and a working multimeter so the customers can test things themselves to save you time), and/or offering a full return when something you sell doesn’t work.

Went to the store this weekend to check out some video games. When i arrived the lady running the place was visibly nervous to have me in the store. She asked what i wanted (which was nintendo games) and said they didnt have any nintendo games and refered me to the playstaion stuff. After a few minutes she came back holding a box of nintendo games and asked me gruffly which ones i wanted. I had to look first and it didnt seem to sit well with her. After i was done, i saw a box of sega that i wanted to check through. She stood over me the entire time watching me. The games are valued at a few dollars a piece, what was with the fifth degree?About halfway through the games, had 3 of them picked out when she abruptly asked me to leave. I guess i couldnt be trusted to look in her store while she used the bathroom. She shuffled me out of the door and locked the store behind me. I waited a bit then decided it wasnt worth the hastle. If you're a video game collector, this isn't the store for you. Poor quality, bad titles, full retail, and overall, a generally unpleasant experience.

Asked about prices for some video games and couldn’t get a direct answer. Then was told to come take a look myself. But the games were already sold!

Good place to buy books, including bibles and daily devotionals. Pet toys and supplies and a variety of things including electronics. They have a large supply of nice carpets at good prices. I would avoid food purchases there though.
