Thanks for hanging up on me mid sentence because my money wasn't old enough for you. I actually had other gold coins I had questions about, but you hung up while I was talking....

They paid me $400 under spot for an ounce with a check that bounced. Just felt shady

Kind gentleman, called him on the phone and he told me that one Troy ounce of silver would be 33 dollars and each silver half dollar would be about 9 dollars a piece, other coins with less silver in them would ofcourse be worth less. 1 hour later I bring him 1 Troy ounce of silver, a small plethora of silver half dollars, 2 1964 quarters, 5 1965 quarters and a 1968 quarter. He gave me 40 dollars for it all. I'm assuming he didn't know I was the same person. Should've been closer to 60 and you really can't complain nowadays, but this felt like a rip off as I was told a price crunch for certain items and when I brought them in, I was underhanded. Careful who you do business with I guess. He took my license and everything. So him saying I never came is a slap in the face, and now I know to never do business with him. He's a low baller please be careful. He wasn't informational at all, he just tapped on his calculator and said yeah 40 bucks is what I can do.

I had a great and fair experience at The Coin shop. Larry, the owner was friendly. The experience was simple and pleasant. He payed a fair price for a gold coin that wanted to sell. I'll be doing more business with him in the future when I have coins that I wish to sell.

Very pleasant experience meeting the owner. He is polite, patient, knowledgeable and honest. I look forward to doing business with him.

🚩Red flag🚩 I called the shop and told them about a historical piece of silver I had and the story attached to it, then he rudely and immediately interrupted me and said, "yeah we only take silver and gold and for silver is 50 to 60 bucks an ounce." As of today February 2nd 2026 1 oz of silver is worth $82. But that's not the point. The point is that he was extremely rude and cut me off halfway through me telling him about this historical piece I wouldn't do business with him if my life depended on it and I do not suggest anybody go there.

We have had 2 amazing experiences with Joseph. He is so kind, welcoming and very detailed. The first experience was with my 14 year old and he treated him like an adult. He wanted to trade in some coins and did some research beforehand . They paid him a very fair amount. The second, I had brought a lot of jewelry that I was unsure of and he went through many pieces. I felt like I was given a fair amount for the items. I will definitely be back.
