I asked for an appraisal for the coins I had and instead of telling me what the coins were worth he just said he isn’t interested in buying them. I never once said I was interested in selling I said I wanted to check if the prices I received were right. So I guess I will get them doubled checked some where else.
Very kind and generous guy. Loves sharing his knowledge and experience. He taught me to spot fake 1oz silver bars and has fair spot prices. Area is sketch but I never walk around greeley without my handgun so not really even a worry. Has other cool and interesting odds and ends, definitely a cool place to look around. You never know what you'll find. Looking forward to buying more silver from him and learning more from him. Thanks again for teaching me to spot fakes.
Just got started in Precious Metal collecting and getting back to coins as well. Was skeptical about reaching out but boy am I sure glad I did. The guy that answered the phone was a jerk. I mapped the place expecting a store, but it took me to the post office. Maybe he does it in his backyard because he answers, "Hello." And throughout, he sounded quite rude. Like "you have to schedule an appointment, what do you need".. Maybe i caught Ron on a bad day, and I have money to spend. Ron should consider noting to call first..
