Great place to go if you know exactly what you want or you don’t. Peter’s currency knowledge is encyclopedic. I’ve bought a number of beautiful older coins as well as a new gold buffalo that made a very special wedding gift for my nephew. Peter can steer you in the right direction with a budget and has ordered special coins for me. I’ve never been disappointed in the service or value!
Peter is the BEST person to sell or buy your silver to in San Diego. First off, he is trustworthy. I was getting quotes from multiple shops because I was trying to sell my silver, and he told me to not go to a shop that wanted me to bring the silver in without a quote, and that's true because these shops try to get you to sell at a low premium because it is a pain to bring it in. Secondly, he gives great prices if you're trying to sell. After calling a bunch of places, he offered the most out of all them, which was a difference of me making about $1000. Also other coin shops around here are pretty rude if you ask me. I'm just a young Asian dude wearing ripped jeans, so I wouldn't have expected a coin shop clerk to give me the time of day. Finally, he is very professional and well mannered. As he counted all my silver, I learned a lot about silver and his life. He is a very personable, and sociable guy. He is also very bright and he knows this business like the back of his hand. He's been collecting PMs for 40+ years! This guy knows his stuff! Anyway, I'm very happy with doing business with Peter. As long as I'm in San Diego, this will be my go-to place.
I have been investing in silver for over 6 years now and I have been to more coin/precious metals/gold and silver bullion stores than I can count and I must say that Peter is very professional and has been the best to come back to time after time. Also, really polite and courteous and professional with me and others in the store. Always interesting conversation going on when I come in. Peter has always done amazing in getting me a great deal and great to talk to about silver and gold. Honestly, I have been to so many stores and he has the best bullion coins I have seen. Being located in La Jolla is always a fun trip too heading that way. Also, Peter knows his stuff! Def come here!
