The ladies played trick on me and she dared to say my first name should put it on my middle name! She did not want to offer me any service! She never showed me the real situation! Luckily, the EDD customer service representative was super nice and helpful, so she transferred me other store! Luckily, I can save $10 service fees from other West Union money store and let me receive the full amount of cash! I really appreciate that Continental Currency brings me the awful service, so I can buy me 2 cups of Boba tea now😆😂 ! Thank you so much!

I went in to buy pesos and the attendant was very genuine and personable. There were other people coming in and out and she made sure to try to be as helpful as possible to each one. Spanish/Latin Friendly Environment.

I've been going here for years. I think the people who work here are very nice and personable. I can have my check directly deposited, get money orders, pay my electric bill, and so much more. I have never had a bad experience here. If the line is long, I just go do something else and usually when I get back the line is short. I appreciate the ladies here. I always walk out with a smile on my face.

I’m having the worse experience today at 1:34 pm with the representative attending window-C4D transaction 110847, I’m over 65 years old I went to make a deposit for my NetSpend Card , when she gave me a receipt I didn’t see the Balance I Ask her if she can mark for me. With the very bad attitude she responds I don’t have the obligation to do, no respect I hope someone can see this message. She is not good representative for Continental Currency Services please take care of this issue Respectfully. Thank you

My teenage daughter went in cashed LB youth program check there. The three to she experience time she was racial profiling and discrimination. The first incident she was told that she looked like someone even though she had a real ID and it was signed off. So she wasn't able to cash her check. The second time I sat in the car waiting for her to cash a check. It was taking a little too long when I have seen there was only one person ahead of her. That person had walked out already. So I decided to walk in to find out what's the holdup and make sure everything was okay. The woman at the window. Oh she needs ID in a school ID. Where my daughter has a real ID that was presented to her. I'm trying to teach my kids life skills so I kind of stood back to see how she was going to handle the situation but being that she I heard what she said.. The didn't that was her mother or if I was with her. So when my daughter turned to me I stepped up and I addressed with the lady and told her that you are lying California real ID is enough. The woman was caught off guard when I stepped in. And she said oh I thought she was someone else that she look like that was trying to cash your check earlier. That is unacceptable. Is your manager here? She pretended she didn't understand as and talk to her co-worker in Spanish. I went on and said what's the problem? Oh nothing has she cashed a check here before. I told her she tried and somebody turned her way I wasn't present at the time. She quickly continue with service. The second time a month later, my daughter want to cash a check again. I set out in car and waited. There was no one in line at the time as I looked through the big front window. Just taking her a while again. So I got out the car. I walked up to my daughter and say what's going on? She said they can't find me in the system and don't cash these checks here. I said why? we cashed the last check here and also other people from the same work program cash their checks here. Who my daughter knows. The lady worker that checked her system and pretend like she wasn't able to find it, oh found it. We can cash these checks. She started speaking in Spanish to her co-worker. I was trying to listen in since I know a little Spanish. It's okay how would you like your money big bill's.? I was definitely not okay with this behavior and customer service. The fourth time my daughter returned the cash a check that she first tried to cash. The lady turned around and told her it was expired. I checked with the organization and I looked at the check in a clearly says 180 days. I contacted the organization to verify that is 180 days and that the check is still good. They told me it's not expired. She has three more months to cash the check. So I went back with my daughter and the lady says oh it's expired and I said no it's not it clearly says 180 days why did you turn my daughter away? I showed her on the check oh it's so small. Go back to her first time it was only had been a couple of weeks since received she her first check before she decided to catch it cash it. We was waiting for her real ID. I was very upset at this point and I told her I was going to report her for discrimination. Also I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I checked their website and I could not find their business listed in Long Beach. I haven't been back there since then. However I will continue to follow up with a discrimination complaint when BBB and consumer affairs.
