Very nice people. They gave me a fair price for my items. They also had a good selection of items. If you're looking for coins etc I would definitely give them a visit. I'm very happy I did.

This store sold me FAKE SILVER COINS, sorry to report! [EDIT in response to reply - correct yes, I bought them from your ebay store. When I received them, they LOOKED right, so offered positive feedback. Am not an expert personally. Recently when I went to sell at local shop near me, I learned one of the sets Placentia sold me as silver was in fact worthless clad set.] I purchased 4 items in an online order from Placentia.  After paying, they told me 1 item couldn't be found shipped the other 3 silver coin mint sets, refunding the missing item. Unfortunately, I did not do a good enough job carefully inspecting each set as I put them in my safe.  When I took them out to sell, I was embarrassed to learn that only 2 were real silver; 1 set was in fact worthless clad coins! I realize it's "Buyer beware," and I should have very carefully weighed and examined each and every coin I received before storing them away.  Because of that, when I reached out to see if they could make it right, I did not expect a full refund, but since I don't think it's their INTENTION to sell fake silver coins, hoped for store credit or replacement. The Coin Corner brushed it off and stopped responding, I thought others would want to be aware to be very careful after this experience. Again, I don't think they INTEND to cheat or sell fake items, but in the end I was only able to receive 50% of the items I paid for.

I had the most enjoyable experience at this coin shop. Dave and his wife (and dog) were the most inviting people and they were very helpful. I am new to coin collecting and want to get more into this hobby and they made me feel comfortable with answering my questions and offering up good advice. My 2 year old daughter was handful but they still took the time to put a smile on her face by giving her a very generous gift. Dave was more than helpful by pointing me in the right directions, grading my coins, and showing me some very impressive coins. I promise to come back soon and maybe pick up a coin. The Coin Corner is a wonderful place to visit and shop. Dave and Sandy (and dog Penny) curate an excellent collection of historic U.S. and foreign coins along with the standard fare of gold and silver bullion pieces. Even little kids can get started collecting coins from a bygone era or finding an international coin to include with a school project. Service and knowledge are above 5 stars.

And Penny is the cutest store puppy EVER!! You can tell they truly care about coins and collectors, Prices are really fair, and they’re happy to answer questions when they are not busy, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced collector. Huge selection, friendly atmosphere, and no pressure at all. I told them once that I am not a big customer of yours yet, and.. . and didn’t wait till I finished, they told me right away that they treat every customer equally, so no worries. What a wonderful feeling of this coin shop!! This is the ONLY dream local coin shop every coin collector hopes to find. I came here 1-2 times every week for 6 months now. Highly recommend!!
