Mike Kim and his wife are Con Artists, they simply dont care, all they always is your money and don't give advice on which precious metal types to purchase based on what they have in their showcases.

I've been shopping precious metals at Gold Pig for nearly all occasions (Dol parties, wedding ring, investment purposes, etc.) Mike has always been honest and he also gives excellent advise on what is best on market to purchase. Highly recommend this place!!

this is not the place to visit to sell gold coins/bullion. the owner has the attitude of a pawnshop owner, take a look inside and you'll notice gold chains are the most common things on display

I sold $3800 worth of gold jewelries I don't wear. His prices were the highest (I checked three stores in downtown jewelry district). He also gave a lot of advice which were very sound. Here are some: Don't sell gold with little diamonds at gold shops since it's worth nothing. Pearls are pretty much worthless when you try to sell it. Hold unto baby's 24k first rings, bracelets, they are like cash (in times of need). I am glad I saved the earring back pieces (14K), gold pins and thin hoops. I felt bad selling necklaces with sapphire, rubies and tiny diamonds. They were worth a lot but you get so little when you sell it. He is honest, ethical. Wrote down how much each piece of jewelry was. My advice to the gold sellers: Always check at least three stores before selling your jewelry.
