Terrible offer
I had them appraise some jewelry and sold the pieces to them. Great and immediate service.
Aram took great care of me and from what I saw around Glendale, XP pays very well. Will use again when in the area.
You can tell that Express Pay is professional as soon as they buzz you in through the security cage. Every item I was selling tested so I could see the results, and then the lady showed me the current gold prices and explained how much I would be paid. Very fair cash payment and I was completely satisfied. Will do business again.
I was in need of some fast cash for Christmas and had some very old 14K gold chains to sell. Called around and Gold Express Pay gave me the best quote. All my items were tested quickly and came out as 14K and they gave me the quoted price. This is exactly how it should work - so thank you very much.
Their site advertises that they pay “Up to 85% of the refined value of gold jewelry. Plus 10%” If that’s true, how were they able to turn around and offer so much more when I denied their first offer? (See photos attached) Their customer service rep told me that my gold “isn’t worth” what someone local offered me, and they whoever offered it “made a mistake for sure”….(again, see attached photos) There is no way of knowing whether or not the rating on their website is honest or not…you can’t rate them unless you accept their offer. And of course, only people who are content with their offer are going to accept it and be able to rate. Lastly, they advertise the price of gold as of July on their website, which is lower than the price in October (today.) Unless you dig around more, to which you’ll find today’s price on another page. Of course, it’s a bit hard to find and requires a lot more digging. Seller beware.
