Was an easy process to get my coins looked at. Quick and painless sale. Went to 3 other shops and they paid way more than the first 2 offers.

I am leaving this review regarding my Aunt Evelyn's visit to America Rare Coin. 100% RECOMMEND. This is her review. Entering the store and engaging in conversation with owner, Nelson Sagastume was such a blessing. Aunt Evelyn explained her sister was pre-dimentia/alzheimer and she enjoyed collecting quarters. Nelson immediately understood how her collecting and organizing her coins would bring her focus and comfort in doing something the was passionate about. He then offered a gift of two coin books for her sister Dolores. Aunt Evelyn was near tears at this kind gesture. Such a reminder of the existence of kind giving people. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Purchased 1926S Oregon Trail half dollar PCGS MS 65+ CAC approved. The coin also has some Toning. It is absolutely gorgeous. It’s an awesome addition to my slowly growing 1926S Oregon Trail commemorative half dollar grade scale set. I highly recommend this company. Not just a shop trying to buy my actual rare coins for metal price. I did have some coins just worth silver too but one of them was worth 300. Saw it in their case for 330 when I came in a couple weeks later. Made me feel good to see that and know I didn't gett ripped off. My new coin place if I ever find anymore

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Experience – Highly Recommended I had a great experience at American Rare Coin. The gentleman I worked with was extremely honest and straightforward, which is something I truly value. The shop itself was clean, well-organized, and very professional. I never felt pressured at any point, and the transaction was handled with transparency and respect. I will absolutely be a repeat customer, and I highly recommend anyone looking for fair, honest business to visit this place. American Rare Coin does things the right way.

I looked up who is an authorized PCGS or NGC for coin evaluation. I went into this store a couple days ago and presented an 1871 Silver Dollar coin. The male employee took a whoppin 2 seconds flipping the coin, then only stated he would give me no more than $5. Due to his unprofessionalism and the lengthy evaluation of two seconds, prompted me to look elsewhere. I went to another PCGS or NGC in Rocklin and they offered me $86 right off the bat. Today, 2/17/26, I asked for the manager who defended his employees thus calling me a liar that they would do such a thing. I then allowed my flesh to belch out what I thought of his establishment trying to rip me off and hung up the phone. He called me back asking me what had happened. I simply told him I had already given him details and that I didn't appreciate him calling me a liar and I refused to repeat myself. Do not go to this rip off place. I suggest go to Encore Gold in Rocklin, they are more honest.
