Totally dishonest. Years ago they were great. Perhaps the Original Owner has moved on. It now has nothing but rude young people who are not helpful at all.

I went into this store for the first time today after calling and inquiring about availability of Mexican Libertad 1oz coins. I asked if they had any and was told that yes there was a tray full of them. I asked what their markup above spot was and the lady put me on hold and told me that all Libertads were spot plus 50 cents and I should come on in. I drove 45 minutes only to see that all their libertads were marked up way beyond spot even the new non rare 1oz coins were $15-20 all the way up to a few hundred above spot and evey single coin had an individual price. I was however greeted by a very nice lady who took the time to show me a couple different trays. The store was really nice and the prices were the same as just about any other store in the area. I really though about impulse buying something just to not have completely wasted my time but just couldn't bring myself to after the bait and switch that happened. I'd suggest having whoever answers the phone be honest and know your products before having people wasted their time.

Love this place. I have been buying gold from Xavier for years now. Just went in today and bought another 1 oz gold buffalo. I was torn between getting another eagle or getting another buffalo. I went with the buffalo and I’m glad I did! I had to go with the solid 24K. Xavier has the cheapest prices that I have ever came across. I can’t lie.

I brought in a portion of my parents’ coin collection and had a great experience. Since it was an inherited collection, I didn’t have much background on several items. The staff immediately knew what everything was and explained it clearly. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about pricing. I felt I received a fair deal and traded it for 1 oz silver rounds. No pressure, just straightforward, honest service. I’ll definitely come back again.

These people are awesome to work with, friendly and always provide me with a little education during my visit. I’ve been selling and buying silver from Xavier and they’ve consistently been the best price every single time. Xavier is definitely my favorite coin shop in the Phoenix metro area. Have bought and sold gold/silver here a few times and the price is always fair, reasonable and straightforward. Plus, the staff are always pleasant. They have a pretty good selection of numismatics and jewelry as well. Well worth the visit.
