This place is hands down the worst. The customer service sucks, clearly not enough staff and cash registers. It's wild the amount of time you have to wait for someone to help you. You'd think it'd be easy with how many of the workers you see following you around making sure you don't steal. Then when you finally get help they rush the hell out of you. Honestly the only good thing about this place is their restaurant, the food & bakery is great and it seems they actually have nicer people working there. I'm very fed up with being followed all the time Im unsure if it's because of my skin color or what.

So many cool things to see here. You can spend hours trying to see everything.

We went to check out jewelry and other items. Prices were really high. Some of the automotive items were priced 3 times higher than I can buy from Amazon. A lot of great things just out of my price range.

From the people manning the checkout counter to the men in charge of retrieving articles out of the cases, everyone who works here is unprofessional and rude. Upon waiting 15 minutes for someone to come and open the case, the man accosted me for daring to ring the bell twice in a 15 minute period. On top of this, many vendors have marked up products egregiously (linking a photo of a Walmart box & locket for $80.) There are so many wonderful vintage shops in the area, I’d recommending going to one that has actual vintage products and kind employees who won’t make you feel like you are convincing them for doing their job. I stumbled across this huge antique store, the kind that feels more like a vintage village than a shop. It’s packed with vendor stalls, each one bursting with its own personality and style. The place just keeps going and going, with rows of collectibles, kitchenware, records, retro furniture, quirky signs, and so many other treasures. You think you’ll only stay for a few minutes, and the next thing you know, hours have passed and you’re still exploring. I ended up finding a beautiful set of retro canisters that made the trip completely worth it. I was really hoping to find some with a mushroom design, but no luck this time. Still, the ones I picked up have that perfect seventies charm with warm colors and bold lettering, and they only cost forty dollars for the full set. Not bad at all. One of the most striking things about the store was the amount of vintage blown glass vases. They were everywhere, in every shape and color you can think of. Some stalls displayed entire collections, and when the light hit them just right, it felt like looking at glass rainbows. And apparently, there is an entire other section outside and even another building. I barely made a dent. I’m already planning to go back.

Merchant Square Antique Marketplace is an absolute gem for anyone who loves hunting for unique vintage treasures, from fascinating antique furniture and retro décor to quirky collectibles and nostalgic memorabilia, there’s truly something for everyone tucked into its sprawling vendor booths. The atmosphere is welcoming and nostalgic, the staff and vendors are friendly and helpful, and I’ve always found the variety impressive enough to spend hours browsing without running out of cool finds. Whether you’re searching for classic décor pieces, rare vinyl, or conversation-starting vintage items, this marketplace delivers an exciting, treasure-filled experience that’s well worth the visit.
