Sam and his dad are down to earth guys. I have pawned with them for a while now and they always treat me right. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them.
I needed some extra cash on a Sunday! This was listed as: OPEN!! 9am-5:30pm!! I Called three times and was hung up on Everytime! So I thought maybe they are busy.. yeah! I went down there and CLOSED! Please correct your hours Greer's! So people don't think your open when your NOT!
Went in to get a loan on $350 worth of brand new, UNOPENED DeWalt tools (20V XR Impact and Drywall Cutout Tool). I asked for $150. I don’t think that’s unreasonable considering they’ve never seen the light of day. Well, they hadn’t until they were opened. I told the guys what I wanted before they opened them. They opened them, took them out and looked at them and then put them back in and said they couldn’t come close to my asking price. So WHY OPEN THEM???? To devalue them? Doesn’t make any sense at all. The box WAS clearly factory sealed and there’s pictures and model numbers on the box. What was the point in wasting my time by opening them, fondling them, and disrupting their original packaging if you couldn’t come close to my asking price. I now see why their shelves are bare. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go to Coopers. I never should have strayed from there but this place was closer.
Absolutely 0% Recommend any business with this Pawn Shop. There super crooked. My husband bought a gun and had all but a penny paid off and put in layaway. We had a slip to prove it was supposed to be in layaway. We went back the next day to pick it up and they had sold it. Tried to say they got swamped with people and accidentally sold it. It wouldn't have been possible if it was secured in the safe for layaway like it was supposed to be.
Love this pawn shop! Sam is seriously the most down to earth fella. Definitely gets it from his dad, who also runs it. You're missing out if you don't take your business to them.
