We recently moved to AR and my son has an obsession with coins. Every coin store we’ve taken him to in hopes of creating a fun experience has been a bust. Everyone else seems to be annoyed, in a hurry, and unwilling to help answer any questions. Dude’s, however, is the BEST store that we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Walt was so gracious, patient, and willing to answer all the questions my boy had. He truly made my boy’s birthday so memorable! He just earned life-long customers!

I came to Dude’s Gold & Silver with high expectations, largely based on their outstanding reviews. Like many other collectors in Northwest Arkansas, I’ve been searching for a reliable, long-term coin dealer—someone I could trust and build a relationship with over time. I’m was looking to spend several thousand dollars over the next couple of years, so finding the right fit matters to me. On 9/23, I checked their Google listing and saw they were open. I made time to visit the store around 11:15 AM, excited to start that initial connection and hopefully place my first of many orders. The open sign was lit, the parking lot was empty, and I was looking forward to a peaceful shopping experience. Unfortunately, the door was locked, and a sign instructed me to call a number (the person was about 10 minutes away). I called, and a man answered—but didn’t identify himself or the business, which immediately made me question whether I’d dialed the right number. I explained I was at the store and interested in browsing coins. When he asked what kind, I said I wasn’t sure yet. His response: he was busy. I understand that things come up, but it’s hard to reconcile that with an open sign, a locked door, and a lack of basic customer engagement. If you’re not available, why signal that you are? And why not identify yourself when answering a business call? Honestly, I’m puzzled by the glowing reviews. I had hoped this would be the beginning of a strong buying relationship, but I left disappointed. The search for a trustworthy dealer continues.

I have recently sold Walter several silver eagles and a gold coin over a couple of different transactions. Very honest, fair and couldn't be nicer through the process. I would highly recommend him!

Walt is the best person to see when buying or selling gold and silver. He is the only person I will ever do business with because he gives you the most out of all the places I’ve been to he is just simply the best. He is friendly and helpful which is also why I drive almost 2 hours to go see him.
