wonderful place to buy and sell coins. The owner of the store is very fair i have been dealing with him a long time buying and selling. i normally do not post my opinions for everyone to see but i happened to see where some clown posted that the owner had told him what his coin was worth but had one in his case for much higher. did you look at the date, the condition, did you ask the owner why his was so much more, i think not ,you had rather give a bad review than find out that the coin you had was substandard. clowns like this one is the reason i do not put a lot of faith in someones opinion i read on line.

I drive from Birmingham Alabama from Hoover. I'd go there to talk to Patrick who's the owner of that shop and he is one of the nicest and most fairest person out of all the coin shops in alabama. Except for you got Ken that owns a coin Castle in bessemer. Super super nice guy and then you got so I would go if I was not know what was going on I would go home store then I would go to Tuscaloosa to go see I would go to David at Alabama coin store in pelham, then I would go to India Capstone coins, then of course Tom at trademark coins in Montgomery he's at an antique shop but that's kind of far if you're in Birmingham and then go to Ethan at Southern Coin & collectibles, and then go to Steve at Alabama gold refinery in Homewood butt peacock streets more on rolex's but if you go in the order I say you'll get the best thing if you're selling stuff or trying to buy stuff. That's 10 years of experience. That's the order you should go if you're trying to sell or buy stuff otherwise you're going to get ripped off

This is the place to buy and sell coins. Over 50 years experience and Patrick has so much knowledge about coins and he is very fair. He knows everyone in the coin business, even the grading companies and this can be very helpful. He can also show you how to spot fakes. I highly recommend this place and Patrick.

Old coin shops like this are few and far between anymore. The owner said he has been there thirty years and it shows. Lots of clutter and even a little dinginess. But that's what makes it great. I spent two hours here on a trip through the area and wished I had more time to explore. You just didn't know what you would uncover in the place. A good selection of both numismatic and bullion items, plenty of exonumia and supplies. I left with $2000 less cash in my pocket but enjoyed what I bought and the time I spent hunting there. Definitely check it out if you are nearby.

You can tell that you are in an expert coin store when you walk in the door. Patrick is is generous with his many decades of collecting knowledge and extremely fair in his business dealings. He respects the customer and has a passion for the product. I sold some estate coins and know that I received a good deal. If you are a coin collector it would be worth your drive from Cullman or Birmingham just to see what he has in the store and add to your collection.
