This guy seems as legit and straight up as they come . I called several other places before calling him and never could get a definite answer on price for silver eagles. David told me on the the phone exactly how he pays and how much . I brought in my items , he checked them out and paid me cash . WHY GO ANYEHERE ELSE ..??!!
Have had several occasions to liquidate silver coins I inherited…nothing numismatically valuable, just melt. Every time, I get three or four quotes from local buyers and every time, Alabama Coin Shop pays the most. Owner is low-key and friendly, will tell you how he calculates and any factors that increase or decrease his rate. He has also pointed out some coins I had in the pile that could sell for more to collectors and gave me the option to pull those out. Very honest buyer with transparent practices. Not pushy and very knowledgeable. P.S. They have a good selection of stuff for sale, too, although I have never bought from them.
