Such a fun spot in Laramie. There’s three sections of the store. The downstairs has the coffee shop and older books. Around the corner is the used bookstore and upstairs there’s new books and lots of merchandise. You could spend hours enjoying each section. We realized love the upstairs. There’s lots of light, fun gifts, antiques, and plenty of new books. There’s also a fun children’s room and another huge section of used books. Everything was very affordable. We can’t wait to go back when we drive through again.
Excellent use of old space complete with a battery of antique ceiling fans and transoms over the doors. A bookstore made of countless nooks, with lots of seating as well. It's a climb up the stairs to get to, but well worth it. Formerly known as Personally Recommended Books.
Best bookstore in town!! So charming and expertly curated. All the themed genre rooms are so fun, especially the kids room. Perfect way to make cherished childhood memories that instill reading as an exciting adventure.
Very comfy place. Lots of wonderful titles and merchandise of your favorite books as well. My first time there was when Dylan hollis did his book signing and oh man they handled the crowd amazingly and were so patient and social. I love this place I'll definitely be going back to get more books there.
Recently, I have been traveling across multiple towns to visit Barnes and Noble in search of books that pique my interest. I usually leave feeling less than satisfied due to the limited variety that is offered in my particular interests. HOWEVER, today I visited the Second Story Book Store and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of variety they offered, the unique environment, the creative set up of the store, and the exceptional customer service. I found a niche selection seemingly tailored to my personal taste, which thrilled me beyond belief. This store is a hidden gem in the heart of Laramie and I will certainly be returning at my earliest convenience. ❤️
