Fair and knowledgeable. Conveniently scheduled a time to discuss the best way to preserve jewelry pieces. Jimmie is a rare ‘gem’ and will do his best to keep client’s best interests in mind.

Jimmie was very thorough, professional and communicated his entire process while he appraised a piece for me. The convenience and peace of mind that came with having the appraisal performed in my home was A+++. I highly recommend and will use Ab Initio Gemology and Jimmie for future appraisals.

Had several rings and other jewelry appraised for insurance purposes. He came to our home and was punctual, very professional, and did an excellent job! I highly recommend him for any appraisal needs you may have!

He(Jimmie) did not share any upfront charges, claims it is on his website. Which says nothing about a "consultation" charge. Would not recommend to anyone! Knowledge is one thing, character and communication skills are not what this person has! Wouldn't trust his evaluation of your items as well!
