Keeping it local paid off. I had a very pleasant experience selling my old gold and silver jewelry to the lovely ladies in this store. I received a very fair price, which was much better than the first location I went to. There were a few jewelry pieces that I wasn't selling and we talked about those as well and she suggested going to another local shop for appraisals (Chinawest Jewelers). I’ve never sold silver before and didn’t know where or how todo so. So I asked ChatGPT and Wisconson Precious Metals in Lake Geneva was the first place that came up, 6 hours away. From my first call to the prompt call back and making sure I understood my options and her quote on the silver I wanted to sell, Jenny made me feel at ease. Not what I expected or got from the two other places I called(well known and nation wide) one low balled me compared to the quote from Jenny and the other company wouldn’t even give me a price. When I arrived we looked up the current price silver was at and stuck to her quote. These two professional lady’s counted everything and wrote me a check even offered to pay my parking ticket. (Which I didn’t get because everything was taken care of so quickly) there still are great people out there. Oh and offered to meet me halfway next time.
