Stopped by today to determine values on some vintage jewelry and my dad's old coin collection - Rich and Kelly could not have been more accommodating and generous with their time. They were patient, considerate and extremely knowledgeable - two of the most genuine human beings you could hope to meet. I can't recommend highly enough!

I went here Sell some silver coins. I would recommend against selling or getting anything appraised here. The guy acted like everything I had was worthless and quoted me 950 which I knew was extremely low due to the price of silver. I made one phone call to a place in Jefferson and got 1470 for the same coins on the same day. I could see a $100 difference but over $500 is a major discrepancy, especially considering silver price is calculated by weight, So is your scale broken? Classic low rent pawnshop tactics. DONT sell silver and gold in Janesville especially to this place. Jefferson is nearby and the guy at the coin shop there pays what this stuff is actually worth. And he’s a nice guy.

I went into the coin shop honestly to see if Some knives of mine that were stolen might have been sold there. I had large collection of nice brand named (like spider-co) stolen. Anyway I started looking around and they have a big selection of different items from Sports cards to COINS obviously, gaming counsels and jewelry, tools, Drumset, and much more. I asked Kelly about a Playstation 4 and she was extremely helpful, put it on layaway for me. After I was looking at the sterling necklaces and found one with a little cross on it and she gave me a great deal. Im definitely digging this piece. Kelly was very personable and kind. Very easy to work with. This place is a gem in Janesville. Thank you Kelly. 🙂

I went in to get some pricing on a silver flatware set and some other odds and ends. Everybody was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I was going to have to wait a while and they were nice enough to offer me a bottle of water. I talked to a couple of the other employees while I waited and they were so nice and attentive. After Rich was done looking at my items he gave me an offer. They stressed that I wasn't obligated to sell the items. I got a great, fair price on all of my things. Then when I left, the gentleman at the front counter walked me out and made sure I made it to my car and left safely. Very impressive. I have already told several friends about the Coin Shop and they have shown great interest in going there. I know I will go back very soon! 10 out 10!!

I’ve been going to this shop since I was 11 years old. I’ve always had a good experience. Richard and Kelly behind the counter are both extremely helpful. I tell everyone I know if they don’t want to get ripped off to go to THE COIN SHOP in Janesville. You have to be extremely careful nowadays because there are a lot of fakes out there. I’ve purchased silver here several times. Guaranteed good every time. They also have a ton of other items like video games, records, guitars etc etc I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!
