I went here about 6 months ago to sell gold that I had and I walked in I knew that I had made a huge mistake. This guy was a rude used car salesman type. He had already told me what he paid per gram so I didn't really appreciate him trying to negotiate the price way down telling me he had to pay less because some of the jewelry had some small gems! I told him just give it back to me then since most other places will just pay you the price for gold even though it has gems. That's a fact. (They make money off those gems whether they use them for other pieces of jewelry or sell them to other buyers/ dealers etc! Don't let them tell you they don't!) Anyway, he ended up weighing it and offered a ridiculous price especially for the amount of gold that I had which was quite a bit. I knew right away that I can get far more for it and he was trying to rip me off. Then, he actually told me I better just take his offer because no one else would have that much cash on hand which is completely ridiculous since buying gold is generally a cash business and I've never had a situation where I didn't get cash even when we're talking $3,000/4K. When I told him I was going to go somewhere else and I wasn't interested he showed how agitated he was and as he was putting the jewelry back into the bag a couple pieces fell on the floor and I asked him very nicely to please make sure he put those back in the bag too. At that point he had the audacity to imply me wanting those pieces back in the bag was me being greedy. I was a bit dumbfounded. It was the MOST bizarre and uncomfortable experience I have ever had selling gold and silver and I've done this for years. I usually saw my jewelry to the same place but this one time I just thought that I would try a different place and see if they paid a little bit more, etc. Big mistake! I would not recommend going here. Besides the pressure and blatant dishonesty you get the added extra bonus of him trying to talk down to you and make you feel what you have isn't that valuable and that you just woke up in this world this morning. Gold is gold and the value is the value that day. If he was trying to rip me off for over $1,000 he's doing it to everyone else. Take it to another place! After I got the hell out of there I took my gold to the place I usually do and they gave me $1,200 More than his offer. That's a lot! He wasn't even in the ballpark. I generally don't even leave comments, even when I've had bad experiences but in this instance I feel that people should be warned and know what they're going to be walking into!

had an incredible experience working with International Gold & Silver and the owner, Brian. From start to finish, Brian went above and beyond to provide a fair, transparent, and generous offer for my items. His professionalism and knowledge of the industry really stood out β€” he took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I felt confident and informed throughout the process. What impressed me most was Brian’s genuine customer service and entrepreneurial spirit. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and truly values his clients. It’s rare to find someone so honest, personable, and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for top-notch service, excellent offers, and a trustworthy expert, International Gold & Silver is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend Brian!!

I just sold a 1/10 oz and a 1 oz American Gold Eagle at International Gold and Silver Buyers, and this was my first time ever selling after buying gold and silver for years. I called ahead to see if they were buying, and Brian, the owner, answered the phone himself. He confirmed they were buying and asked if I could come in around 2:00 PM. I showed up about 15 minutes early and was taken care of immediately. The entire process was seamless and straightforward. Brian was knowledgeable, candid, and had a great sense of humor, which made the experience comfortable and easy. He paid what i consider top dollar, more then a fair price, for the gold without any issues or pressure. I appreciate how willing he was to talk through what I was doing and answer questions without rushing the transaction. I told him I’ll absolutely be coming back when I sell again in the future. If you’re looking for a quick, honest, and professional experience with someone who clearly knows the business, I’d highly recommend giving Brian a try.

About a year ago, I brought in a coin collection I had inherited from a loved one who passed away. From the initial phone call, I felt a lack of patience, which already made me uneasy. When I arrived, I had to be buzzed in and the environment felt very closed off and unwelcoming. I explained that I was more interested in understanding what the coins were and getting information about them before discussing a price. Instead, I was immediately asked what I wanted for everything. When I said I wanted to do some research and possibly get other quotes, the demeanor shifted noticeably. I was first offered $700. As I began packing up to leave, I was quickly told, β€œFine, I’ll give you $800.” The interaction made me feel rushed and uncomfortable, especially given that this collection had sentimental value. I think if I were a man he would've taken me more seriously. My brother went there for a ring and did not have the same experience. I ultimately decided not to sell there. A year later, I went to Derzon Coins for a second opinion. They were kind, transparent, and straightforward about their compensation process. I ended up receiving over $1,400 for the collection, and they even pointed out about $80 worth of coins that weren’t worth selling and could simply be exchanged at the bank. I would encourage anyone with inherited or sentimental collections to seek multiple opinions and choose a place where you feel respected and informed.
