I have been working with Dave and others for about a decade. I have bought and sold precious metals, and our transactions are always equitable. Additionally, several people in my family have purchased beautiful wedding sets here. Their standards are high, and their character and integrity are consistent.

These guys are some of the most friendly knowledgeable and fair people amongst the business. I specifically deal with old coins and it's been a pleasure to buy and sell from these guys each transaction. When I have to sell their hands down have the fairest offer. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

David and the team are outstanding at Goldmine. They make everybody feel welcome that walks into the door and are always eager to help their clients. Extremely knowledgeable staff and will be honest and fair when it comes to buying and selling. Could not recommend Goldmine enough, even at my place of employment I point people in Goldmines direction, because I know they will be taken care of and treated well!

My wife and I have been customers of The Goldmine in Gig Harbor for years, buying and selling bullion, currency, and stones, and have always had fair, professional dealings with the Anderson family. Several months ago, we brought in a large quantity of silver to sell. Due to a miscalculation on their end, we unknowingly completed a transaction that was significantly undervalued. At the time, we left feeling unsettled, embarrassed, and frankly heartbroken—and for months, we simply stayed away. Recently, after I left a review describing my experience, David immediately reached out to me personally. He explained that shortly after we left the shop that day, he realized the error, calculated what we were actually owed, and set aside the difference—quite literally waiting and hoping we would return so he could make it right. When we came back into the shop, David's father, Jim, greeted us with genuine remorse and kindness. He explained how deeply the mistake had bothered them, made it clear that this is not how they do business, and handed us the bullion that had been set aside for us all those months. No defensiveness. No excuses. Just integrity. Genuine integrity. Mistakes can happen anywhere. What matters is how people respond when they do—and in this case, the Anderson family responded with honesty, accountability, and character that is increasingly rare. They could have said nothing. Instead, they did the right thing, at significant cost to themselves. This often-cynical old lady is literally crying as I write this. As this level of integrity is more than I've ever experienced in my many decades of life on this Earth. We are deeply grateful, genuinely moved, and once again loyal customers. If you are looking for a local business run by people who value fairness and sleep-at-night ethics, The Goldmine is it. 110%
