Called your business to inquire about a collection that we knew absolutely nothing really about. Your office person was very rude, very mean spirited, and acted like we were interrupting him/her from reading the just news paper or something! Don't worry we will never make that mistake again. !.. Just sayin...

Owner, Michael Jaffe, is conceited and condescending. Yes he knows more about stamps than I do. He should since he is in the business. I bet I know more about software than he does because I’m in that business. That is no reason to be rude, conceited and condescending. I’ll never set foot in that place again.

Went in to try and sell a few stamps I have and the lady's in the store tried to tell me to use the stamp I had because they are worth anything. She didn't even look at them. She just looked at the first one in a sleeve(Photo below)But online I found some from .03¢ to $50 plus. I'm going to another place to try to talk to a competent person. DON'T GO HERE FOR ADVICE ABOUT OR TO SELL OLD STAMPS!!!. P.S Brookmans stamp company and Michael jaffe stamps are the same place.

Brought a collection of stamps that I found in a storage unit containing stamps for all over the world from the late 1800’s-early 1900’s to get some info on them sense I’m not a stamp collector. When I entered the realm of complete chaos that they call a shop I was not so greeted by a woman that begrudgingly made her way through the maze. She flicked her finger through the box of stamps and told me that once a stamp goes through the mail it loses all monetary value and said that I should give these stamps to a little kid to play with. I get that the stamps may not be worth much but used stamps are sold everyday on eBay from .01 cents to thousands of dollars. So why lie? I’m guessing the stamps were valued on her opinion of my tattoos and long hair. Apparently this is something that happens frequently since the old man lurking in the corner snickered in approval as looked down her nose at me and my stamps. And I thought baseball card people sucked.

Such a fan of Brookman Stamp Co! If you’re looking for something specific, odds are they have it! The staff are so kind and helpful too. I love stopping in, chatting with the Brookman team and coming home with treasures for my little collection☺️
