Terrible experience. I had conversations with Heather & Megan about my three 1850’s bottles that have gallery stickers on the bottom and accurate pontil marks on the bottom of the bottle. They called them reproductions. Absolutely insulting. I just sold them down south in Seattle for $1,200. I was going to sell them to BC for $900. Bellingham Coin didnt respond to my one return email asking if they would like for me to bring them in and they never responded even though in the email they told me to ask questions. Sellers beware. They will call legit pieces of history “reproductions.”

Awesome shop. Within a minute I was greeted by Jeremy and Heather. Being a first time seller I was a bit in the fog but was given great information and a smooth transaction took place. Highly recommend this coin shop.

Lacking experience, I called and asked on a price they’d give me for a 1882 CC MORGAN in a MS64. They offered 80$. I then talked to someone else, they offered 200$ which if you know CC they never sell for 200$ in a MS64. Needless to say Do not go here if your looking to sell metals of value they under value tremendously. On the other hand The people are kind that’s why I rated 2 stars not their fault they lack experience. Update since I can’t comment back. They never offered 280$… I even asked the question “80$ for a CC Morgan?!” She said “yes” I had someone with me that can vouch for that. They don’t even pay that for Morgan’s. Nor do they pay “ Premiums For slabbed coins.” They pay 10$ under melt. This was last week when I called. Math ain’t mathing.

Love this place so much. Could, and do, spend hours here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices seem fair to good (but I'm no expert). Also, I love, love, love the joy that RB Wick brings to our community (treasure hunts! Giveaways! Play!).

I have visited Bellingham Coin Shop three times over the past couple of months and each time experienced the staff to be extremely pleasant and informative. I inherited some items and brought them into the store. Alex was extremely helpful and honest in explaining exactly what I had and the process if I was interested in selling. No pressure just helpful information. I will definitely HIGHLY recommend Bellingham Coin Shop!!

Bellingham Coin Shop was the second coin shop I visited, and I’m so grateful I ended up there! I was helping liquidate my parent's home and had several coins to sell, but this was new territory for me. The first shop I visited was cluttered and had a strong cigarette smell, which made the experience uncomfortable—so stepping into Bellingham Coin Shop was an immediate breath of fresh air. It is clean, open, organized, and full of interesting coins and so many other types of collectibles. All of the staff were helpful, but the owner in particular stood out. He was warm and extremely knowledgeable. He explained things clearly, answered all of my questions, and treated me with genuine respect. The prices I was offered were very fair—slightly higher than the first shop—and I felt confident and comfortable selling my coins there. What impressed me most was his enthusiasm for the hobby itself. When I mentioned that I was just beginning to learn about coins, he encouraged my interest and made me feel welcome to the "club"! It was obvious he has a passion for the work he does. I highly recommend Bellingham Coin Shop to anyone looking for honesty, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere. It is now my go-to place to sell my parent's items or to shop for truly unique and vintage gifts.

What a great coin shop. The staff was very friendly. The shop was very unique with many different types of coins not just the common American line up. I seen just about everything. I will drive from Oak harbor there again. It is worth the trip. If you want high end coins they have a great selection. If you are new to the hobby they have a great lower cost option as well. I was very happy with my Dutch Lion dollar. This shop brought back nostalgia. The way it is setup with antiques all around it really has an awesome vibe. I can't wait to make my way back there next weekend.

My family and I love this place and their employees. Everyone is fun and nice from start to finish. They enjoy even having my son come in with me to look around. I can only hope we find one of his treasure hunt treasures🤞🤞. Thank you and keep up being amazing!
