Vermont is one of only 5 states that fully charges sales tax on the purchase of precious metals. Contact your state legislator if you are a Vermonter! Why is there a sales tax on Vermont purchases? This punishes both the local businesses as well as the consumer. This encourages a well informed citizen to do business out of state. This punitive policy needs to be changed for the benefit of all!
Tim has helped me over the years with truly unique anniversary gifts, jewelry for my daughter, and purchasing coins and silver. He’s always fair whether he is buying or selling. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!! Thanks Tim PS SC for South Carolina where my daughter is in college. He found that and called me thinking of her! Great service.
Says in multiple places online and in reviews that he buys jewelry. HE DOESN'T, doesn't matter if you have proof of purchase either. We had several high quality pieces that neither me or my partner want anymore and he completely wasted our time because of false advertisement. If you have pieces and want to sell them DO NOT GO HERE. Edit: after multiple conversations with other members of the community I fully believe that the refusal to purchase was rooted in prejudice and discrimination. So once again if you have health issues DONT GO HERE. If youre a person of color DONT GO HERE. If youre a straight white cis person that looks healthy as an ox you MIGHT be able to make a deal but honestly save your time and energy. I would give 0 stars if i could and will be making a report to the BBB.
This shop and its owner deserve a fantastic review. Last week, my mother-in-law visited for the very first time with a very specific and meaningful goal to our family. My husband wanted to honor the very old Silver Dollar Salute tradition at his Navy JAG graduation ceremony. After visiting banks and calling family members, Puro’s was our last chance to help fulfill this wish. Not only did my mother-in-law leave with exactly what was needed, but she left with the owner’s sincerest kindness and generosity. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful experience and your immense thoughtfulness. We will recommend your business to any and all that are in need of your services.
Called some local shops for some silver I was selling and Parros gave me a very reasonable price for what I had. The competition wanted to pay half of what Parros was willing to pay. Highly recommend!
