Visited this establishment for the first time today. Really friendly staff. Definitely going to return here!

Great shop, large variety and staff is very friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience here. I didn’t realize they were closed and no one rushed me and they answered all the dumb questions I had. I will definitely return soon

I've been coming here for years. They've always been super friendly and I love how they treat my ten year old daughter like the most important customer even though she only spends a couple dollars.

I’ve been a customer of B&J Coins for a long time and I can no longer support their business. One thing I’ve noticed in the past few months is that they are not transparent about their pricing. They’ve always had a board up with their buy and sell prices. A respectable coin shop should do a better job keeping up with the current spot price. Their prices appear to be based more on sizing up their customers and what they think they can get out of you. Depending on who is serving you, you could get 2 or 3 different prices. Secondly, their spread is ridiculous. They give you a lowball price on buybacks and their selling prices are always 2-3$ more than their competition in the area. Everyone understands the need for profit taking to keep the business running and to pay your employees, but the spread is ridiculous. They have some friendly employees, but their prices are marked up higher than the major online retailers and all the surrounding coin shops. This must be why they are constantly taking their inventory to coin shows. Doug is not friendly at all. Since the Old Guy who sat in the back left, the store has gone down hill. I will stick with online purchases, Rocky’s and the Coin and Gift Shop (Harrisonburg). Lost a long time customer.
