Monarch Coin Corp.

These guys are pros, sold about 170 Oz of Silver, they requested finger prints for sovereign silver. Staff was Professional during the transaction, beautiful show room, felt very safe during my transaction.

First time visit with a handful of pre 1964 silver coins. Very nice secure office, friendly service and fair priced exchange 👏

I didn't know James Cameron works here. I thought he was just a movie director 😁. Honestly, along with Colin, James and Cameron are two great guys to work with. My LCS, whom I've worked with for the past 6 years recommended Monarch because they didn't have the pieces that I've been searching for. You must be doing something right when your competitor recommends you. Go in with a great attitude and know what you're looking for and the staff at Monarch will treat you like an old friend. They even showed me some great pieces that I wasn't looking for, but they know the niche pieces that I usually have an eye out for. I will miss the old LCS but have found another knowledgeable, friendly and family oriented shop. Cheers...

Have to say my experience with Monarch couldn't have started off better then became tremendously disappointing. I needed to assist a family member and had some silver to sell. First place I called was Monarch (despite me being in northern Utah for the day i assumed with their location they would be reputable and efficient). I spoke with James early and I told him 2 of the pieces I had and he quoted me a price which seemed fair enough. Told him I appreciated his time and they would be the only phone call I would make because he was great and the price seemed fair. So I left Brigham city, went down to south of Salt Lake grabbed the silver and had to make it to Monarch then the bank before they closed. I arrived and was greeted and provided my silver. (With a 3 Oz added in which I did not originally disclose because they needed a couple extra dollars.) They gave me a quote which closely matched what james had told me a few hours before, I agreed and said that was fine... then they had to come back and let me know that 2 of the pieces they would not be able to honor the price on. Specifically the Bison Bullion 10 Oz. pour and the other one which was not anticipated. They could only offer me close to scrap (roughly 18.00 less per ounce than originally quoted. I can say I was disappointed and honestly to be quoted inaccurately twice is inexcusable. In fairness to them they recommended I should just keep the other 2 due to the discounted offering but I didnt have enough time and needed to get that deposit into the bank before they closed. So between the drive, the quotes and the experience it was just disappointing and I expected better. I gave 2 stars because the place had some novelty coins which I planned on coming back for, combined withbthe fact they were going out of their way quite hard for some of the more "well established" clientele but I didnt get treated properly and have zero issue not coming back. James was nice though.

Great price, great service, super friendly and very competent staff. What more could you ask for……

Still the Best!

Good professional service.

Thought monarch was classy until we showed up and was told they were only paying meld or less than meld price for graded coins they said it was a total waste of their time to look over our coins and the guys that worked there were super rude will not be going back

Colin (I think his name was) was great, went way above and beyond explaining coins and even had a short cool conversation about skating with him.

I have to take a minute and say thank you to Monarch Metals... I have been a gold and silver bug for well over a decade, what you would call a stacker. Recently, I have come across some challenging times, and unfortunately had to sell a portion of my gold and silver portfolio. I decided to reach out to Monarch (first time) and couldn't be more happier with my decision. The whole process was seamless, they were thorough, friendly, and hands down they are the best on price locally if you have to sell or buy. Trust me I have been to multiple places. I want to give a shout out to JACKIE who helped me with the whole process today! Jackie, you couldn't have been any better!! = ) You were so kind, friendly, thorough and precise with this sale. And thank you so much for the drink as we were sorting this out. Monarch you have a gem working for you! Monarch, hold on to my lucky dragon bar, hopefully I'll be back soon to buy it back! ; ) All the best Dallas

Jackie was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Monarch didn’t have what we specifically came in for but Jackie went to the back and found an amazing round for me that made the trip to the shop a success.

Had a great first experience at Monarch Coin! I dealt with Jack who was very helpful, he easily explained their process and requirements to sell. They offered a very reasonable price to buy compared to spot and their premiums seem very buyer friendly. I will definitely be back!

Went to sell them some silver rounds and old silver dollars. They were very easy to work with. I tried to sell to sd bullion. Their price was similar but added $60 shipping and insurance and time so I went to Monarch. I was hoping to get a little more for my morgans. They had to issue a business check due to the amount sold. These guys are the only dealer I trust right now.

A big step above other local coin shops. Very professional, accurate, and kindly given information about my coins. I have no clue about this stuff and they were happy to listen to my questions and actually looked up my questions on the computer right there with me. The other big shop nearby took my coins into some back room and literally lied about my coins. Said they were nickel based on the color but made no effort to check anything. Turned out they are 62% silver!!!
