I’ve sold WRC some silver coins and rounds in several visits over the past few months. I felt I was treated fairly in the ever changing silver price market.

I was in yesterday to sell my silver and it was such a great experience. I believe Jay was the gentleman's name but he was very helpful and definitely made this experience quick and easy, definitely will be back

Ok. Well I don’t normally post bad reviews. But in this case.. I have an obligation. I lost my wife 4 years ago. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 8 year old son. I went to these guys to sell a gold coin I bought in August. I have bills to pay and babies to take care of. When I have extra money, I buy gold sometimes. I’m was driving for Uber that morning. I started at 4 am.. at 11 I went to their business and wanted to sell the coin to pay my car payment. The gentleman at the table had this ora around him that made me feel very uncomfortable. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I knew what kind of coin I was selling??? Obviously he was calling me a thief! Who doesn’t know what kind of gold coin they are selling!!! Even the thieves are intelligent enough to research their haul!! I took the money for the coin and I just can’t shake the way this man treated me. I need to forgive him so that I can find peace with this situation.

First thing, I know nothing about coins and went in for information and value of coin I bought at a flee market. I’ve always been interested I the coin collecting and history of certain stamps. I have no idea about grading either. Now my experience with rare coins. I ride my motorcycle everywhere. I have gear and removed my helmet my backpack and had it all in hand all visible and I’m being recorded. As I walk in I see 4 gentleman look at me and man to man it’s not weird to greet another man for walking in to your store. So I I proceed to get buzzed in I noticed one employee on his phone another at the counter taking with another customer (normal) then I get just stared down by the only one who’s apparently available. As he stares me down I stumble my words already feeling uncomfortable (being knowing nothing of this hobby) I proceed to ask about my graded coin, possible value , what proofing means, general questions about the hobby. Granted he is probably annoyed of these types of questions,, but you run a business so it’s part of it isn’t it? He then proceeds to open magazine and scroll His finger like aha! And states he can give me $4.50, get interrupted by a phone call and answer it while “helping “ me. Tell me to sit. Gets off phone and says best I can do is 4.50, now I ask about grading and says that for collectors to know about it’s for them, not mind you I’m trying to learn about it in person trying to possibly become a collector myself. I looked up the grading online before hand and found it was $32.50 @67 proof? Still confused since it not information for me. Talks about striking on coins and says his strike zone “like in baseball” is about as small as this penny… look he wasn’t talking about baseball , he stared me down hard as he was saying it. If you know you know, Anyways I play along and say at that price($4.50, not knowing I attested looked at NGC and verified ID. ) I’ll just donate it to you he’s says no we can’t do that. Let get your ID for that 4.50, I said no I forgot my ID (I did not) and said I’m good and was going to take coin back, he was like “LOOK , I’ll buy the coin myself and sell it to the store for 4.50” just so I everyone could hear( other customer). That was embarrassing , I came in to learn value , understand proofing, how they get sold. Look it was uncomfortable in the sense that the guy was being hard for no reason. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe the grading company puts a value on it but collectors have their own or only pay up to so much? I don’t know, I wasn’t welcomed. I took my $4.50, as I was leaving I told the 4.50 and left in the wind for someone else to have. That was crappy and just rude. I just wanted to learn about it , walked out robbed.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. The staff is knowledgeable and they have a good selection, but pricing can be significantly out of line with the current market, especially during periods of volatility. For example, I was quoted $120 for a common-date 1980 Mexican silver Onza while silver spot was in the mid-$60 range. That’s nearly double melt value and far above what similar shops and online dealers were charging at the same time. I understand premiums, but pricing needs to adjust with the market. I’d recommend checking current spot prices and comparing elsewhere before buying, especially on bullion items.
