Perhaps tell people on your website or make it extremely clear that you don’t buy silver after market close. Maybe don’t even be open after market close. I don’t understand why you can sell it but not buy it. No respect for the customer. It doesn’t matter, your to big to fail so that’s all I got to say about it.
The most honest and respectful coin shop in town! They work hard to give you the best deal and always go above and beyond. They are transparent about their buying hours on the website and will do their very best to work with you on pricing. No corporate BS here, only family oriented GOOD PEOPLE.. I've been a satisfied customer since 2012! Keep on stacking Texans!
Looking to sell around 100 silver coins on a Saturday, so I read reviews for many places in the area and landed on Capital because of all the positive mentions of someone named "Melanie." I called and of course Melanie picks up, friendly as ever. She verified the store hours, the quantity and selection I had, and wasnt rude nor rushed me off the phone. She explained they usually don't buy when the market is closed, pretty typical, but she'd be willing to make an exception based on what I described I had. She made me an offer that was good, couple bucks below melt. It was the best offer anyone made out of the shops I called that day so I was a bit skeptical. Most shops offered $4 under melt. I was so skeptical that I told her I would probably not stop by until the markets open again but thanked her for answering my questions. But curiosity killed the cat so I called back a half hour later. I only mention this part because the line was busy so I hung up...And she called me back! No business has ever called me back when they missed my call. That blew my mind. If more businesses in general did this, they would get more clients. Fast forward, I went to the store. No one said hello at first, but most of the team was busy counting so I probably wouldn't have said hello either. As I walked around, a couple guys asked how I was doing. Then of course Melanie comes from behind the counter and introduces herself. I explained we spoke on the phone and once she saw the coins, she immediately increased her initial offer. To be clear, she didnt offer me at or above melt on anything. But it was damn close for alot of it and I was satisfied. She clearly understood and was knowledgeable on coins, their origins, popularity, etc. She didn't get hung up on how perfect/imperfect the conditions were and spoke plainly and enthusiastically about my collection. She even adjusted some of her offers in real-time as she examined it. She also asked if I wanted an itemized receipt but that would've taken a long time. I appreciated that she asked, once again demonstrating that she understood and appreciated the investment/hobby of stacking. I declined since I already had a list at home for everything and it would've been cruel to have her write or type that many individual coins. She offered cash, check, or a combination of both. I took cash and she counted it in front of me with a machine. Ultimately, it was a fair, honest, and quick experience. I usually sell privately because I can get much better prices, but my selection was so diverse that I didn't want to go through the hassle of individual sales on everything. This is the value of finding great local shops like Capital Coin & Bullion. They have to stay in business too so you have to know what to expect and WANT them to be around tomorrow. For any first timers, park and enter through the back of the building, once you get buzzed inside there's some sort of knife/CBD store in front of you but if you look to the right you'll see all the coins. Haven't been there in years. Now that McBrides is closing theircoin shop this will be my new go to shop. Also the prices are better. I got Gold Eagles for 3% over spot instead of 4% with Mr. McB.

Okay wow all the negative reviews. I had one negative experience but it was not ones fault but a bad day. Ive been back and picked up a beautiful ingot nearly troy oz for 60 bucks when silver is at 8 and oz. People we kind and helpful will be back in today
Absolutely phenomenal coin shop. The people here are awesome, incredibly well priced and give extremely fair offers. I’m new to stacking and they have helped me greatly. Have been multiple times and will continue to go back.
