John , the owner is fair when it comes to pricing and buying BUT ....

This is not an honest man. If you have no knowledge about gold or whatever you are trying to sell, DO NOT communicate with this man. When you call about a price over the phone the price will change in person, depending on who you are. If you know what I'm saying.

Fair enough and very nice man. For 9g of 14k gold I received $400 cash. Current melt value as of March 2025 would be approx $491. So around 18% was deducted from its value, not bad compared to other shops. Would use again.

John is great!! I wouldn't go anywhere else to sell my gold and silver. He is very friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to give you advice as well. I have gone to other places in the past and did not get the level of service you get with John at Alliance Gold and Silver.

John was polite and his prices are fair. Bought some silver rounds today, but should have inspected them a little better prior to leaving. One of the rounds did have very slight spotting that I missed before leaving. ill just have to check extra next time. Will return!

I only sold my gold and silver here out of desperation because I recently was forced into retirement for medical reasons. But I definitely won’t be a repeat customer. Just beware if you need to sell your gold and silver do not go here if you are in a bind because they will ridiculously lowball you. Just the spot value of the gold and silver alone was $2250.00 that’s not adding the value of the coins from the mint. No one forced me to sell other than my circumstances but lesson learned if I find myself in that situation I definitely will steer clear of this place. Don’t let it happen you they will rob you blind. It’s just a shame that the positive reviews have to be either family or friends. No way all the negative reviews saying they lowball and will try to rip you off then you have all these positive reviews. They are crooks. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable place that isn’t unethical as this place is.
