Take your coins elsewhere. He tries to lowball you on prices and then gets offended when you call him out on his BS. Don’t even waste your time here.

It didn’t seem like they knew what they were talking about. Had a 35 gram gold coin they told us was worth $5 and the shop we took it to right after told us it was real and tried to buy it on the spot. Would not recommend going to this shop if you actually want to get your value worth. Lady at the desk was super sweet though lol

I hate to do this but man you guys have some work to do. I’ve been to this shop about 5 times only one of the times have I ever been helped and ended up purchasing some silver was the first time I went. I spent $1000 on some silver. Came in a few weeks later with my buddies I wanted to show them the silver and what to look for trying to get them to want to stack silver. Wouldn’t let us look at 90% constitutional silver I wanted to spend another $1000 that day but the owner didn’t seem to want to sell. Went back in again trying to get some 90% constitutional silver once again the guy wouldn’t let me look at them I wanted some mercury dimes. Came back in another time to give them grace went in at 10:30 on a Thursday and they can’t even open on time, store says open at 10. What a shame honestly.. makes me want to open a coin store because this service is truly terrible. Just ended up ordering online at SD Bullion. Won’t ever go back again. Customer service is the most important money comes with it. You guys must loose so much business to just poor customer service. It is a crazy time on silver but if you were more fair maybe your volume would increase.

I took in two 1926 $2:50 gold indian head coins and several other small pieces and they didnt take the time to.test anything and offerd me 400. So i took it and i when i left i honestly felt that i wasn't done right at all. Should have waited on my guy at kits gold . But he was out of town and i was un a pinch so Live and learn i guess

The old man was rude... didn't even look at my coins!!! Just held them and said not worth anything to him..

I called to get a phone price. The lady did not sound like she knew what she was talking about and was argumentative about the price. Spot price for silver closed at $36 (Friday). They are charging $43 for random year American Silver Eagles. I called another LCS and they are selling random year ASE for $38 which is better than online dealers who are selling ASE for $40. I support local coins shops but shop/call around before you buy.

I love visiting and shopping at Westside coins. The folks there are very knowledgeable and professional and the friendliest folks around. I've sold and bought coins off and on for years now and have always been treated like family. I highly recommend doing you're business at Westside coins in knoxville tn...

Slimy stay far far away. Offered me 10k less than what items were worth. Talked down to me, and treated me like I was an absolute idiot. He just wanted to buy my stuff and didn’t listen to what I was saying. I literally came in to ask for help identifying coins and wanting to know if I needed cases for some. My dude i literally grew up gold mining in Alaska since I could toddle.

Walked into Westside Coin looking to sell 33 ounces of silver (25 one ounce Maples in BU condition and four 2 ounce British Queen’s Beast coins), plus one ounce of gold (a .99999 Maple in assay) Spot price for gold was about $4300. Spot price for silver was about $63. When the guy said ‘I don’t want to hurt your feelings’, I knew he was overstocked, underfunded or just looking to take advantage. After hearing his ‘offers’, I drove an extra hour and found a place that offered $680 more than he did. It pays to shop around.
